Security Manager
The application contains a security layer that handles the users and the permissions they
have at various locations and by various functions of the application. The security layer
provides the System Administrator with a security matrix defining the users and their
permissions within each module, from which, the user will be able to grant/revoke
permissions for modules, functions, data….etc, for each user or for a group of users.
Security within the application is role based. There are a number of preset roles within
the system to which the system administrator can assign new users. Users could be
assigned to more than one role. The administrator can link any of the system’s
applications/modules to a role. Applications/Modules can be assigned to more than one
role.
